Accessibility Statement
We’re committed to a usable, inclusive experience for every visitor to SteadyBars.com.
About this statement
Our commitment
SteadyBars is committed to making our website and services usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are working toward substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and view accessibility as an ongoing effort.
Conformance status
Given our continuous improvements and use of third-party apps, the Site partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts may not be fully accessible yet. We are actively identifying and fixing issues as we update content and templates.
What we’re doing
- Building pages with proper headings, landmarks, and labels to support keyboard and screen-reader navigation.
- Improving color contrast, focus states, and link visibility.
- Providing alt text for meaningful images and avoiding images of text where possible.
- Testing new features for keyboard-only use and logical focus order.
- Reviewing theme and app updates regularly for accessibility regressions.
Accessibility preferences widget
We provide an accessibility preferences widget (AC Toolkit) on the Site. It offers tools such as adjustable text size, contrast options, link highlighting, and more. This widget is a supplement that helps many visitors, but it does not replace accessible design and code. If any control interferes with your assistive technology, please let us know.
Known limitations & workarounds
- Occasional missing or non-descriptive alt text on older images.
- Inconsistent contrast for certain accent colors in smaller text.
- Some third-party app content (e.g., forms, embeds) that may not fully meet WCAG.
Workarounds: If you encounter a barrier, please contact us using the methods below. We’ll help you complete tasks such as placing an order, finding product details, or requesting service.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies. Older browsers and devices may not provide the full experience.
Assessment & ongoing monitoring
We assess accessibility using a combination of automated scans, keyboard-only checks, and assistive-technology spot tests. We review priority templates and high-traffic pages quarterly and whenever we make significant changes.
Feedback & support
Your experience matters. If you experience difficulty with any part of the Site, need an accessible alternative, or want to suggest an improvement, contact us:
Please include the page URL, the problem you encountered, and the assistive technology or browser you’re using. We aim to acknowledge messages within 2 business days and resolve issues as quickly as possible (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm CT).

Our store runs on Shopify and includes third-party apps and integrations. While we aim to choose accessible services and request fixes when needed, we don’t control their code. We continuously evaluate alternatives and updates that improve accessibility.
