Shipping Policy

What this covers

This policy applies to DIY “bars-only” orders shipped to you. Installation packages are delivered on-site by our installer and don’t use parcel shipping.

Processing Times

  • Fulfillment time: 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays).
  • Orders placed after 12pm CT may begin processing the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Rates

  • Carriers: UPS/FedEx Ground (and USPS for small parts).
  • Rates: Calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination. Oversize bars (≥36″) may incur a carrier oversize surcharge.
  • Signature: Not required by default. If you need signature service, contact us before the order ships.

Estimated Transit

  • Contiguous U.S.: 2–5 business days after dispatch.
  • AK/HI & U.S. Territories: 3–10 business days; surcharges may apply.
  • International: Not offered at this time.

Tracking

A tracking link is emailed when your order ships. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update.

Address Changes & Order Edits

  • Before shipment: Email sales@steadybars.com or call 817-670-2204 ASAP—we can update addresses or cancel for a refund before fulfillment.
  • After shipment: Changes must go through the carrier; reroute/return fees (if any) are the customer’s responsibility.

Delivery Issues

  • Damaged on arrival: Report within 3 business days with photos of the packaging, label, and product. We’ll arrange a replacement or parts as appropriate.
  • Lost in transit: If tracking stalls for 7+ days (contiguous U.S.), we’ll open a carrier investigation and replace if confirmed lost.
  • Marked “Delivered” but not received: Wait 24–48 hours and check with neighbors/household. If still missing, contact us—porch theft after delivery isn’t covered by carrier insurance, but we’ll help with next steps.

Refused/Undeliverable Packages

Refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable shipments (wrong address, no secure access, etc.) will be refunded minus original shipping and any carrier return fees. Reshipment is available once fees are paid.

Split Shipments & Backorders

  • We may ship items separately to speed delivery. You’ll receive a tracking email for each parcel.
  • If an item is backordered, we’ll email an updated ETA or offer a refund.
