Limited Lifetime Product Warranty & Lifetime Installation Guarantee

Who’s Covered. This warranty and guarantee apply to the original purchaser and the original installation address only. Proof of purchase is required. Non-transferable.

1) Limited Lifetime Product Warranty (Grab Bar Itself)

Buhldawg, LLC/DBA (“SteadyBars”) warrants that grab bars and included mounting hardware supplied by SteadyBars will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under normal residential use. If a defect arises, SteadyBars will, at its option, replace the product at no charge with standard ground shipping prepaid within the continental U.S.

What’s Not Covered (Product)

  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes.
  • Misuse, abuse, alteration, or improper storage.
  • Improper cleaning (including exposure to bleach/chlorides, muriatic/acidic cleaners, steel wool, or corrosive chemicals).
  • Contact with urine or pool chemicals.
  • Damage from mineral/iron-rich water, salt air, or harsh environments.
  • Installation not performed per instructions.
  • Damage caused by substrates, framing, tile, or building movement.
  • Accidents or acts of God.

2) Lifetime Installation Guarantee (Labor Performed by SteadyBars)

For installations performed by SteadyBars, we guarantee the labor for as long as the original purchaser owns the residence at the original installation address. If the grab bar we installed loosens under normal residential use, SteadyBars will return during normal business hours to re-secure it at no labor charge (and at no trip charge within our standard service area).

What’s Not Covered (Installation)

  • Any bar not originally installed by SteadyBars, or any relocation/move of a bar after initial install.
  • Failures caused by substrate or structural issues (e.g., rotted/deteriorated studs, delaminated tile/backer, water-damaged drywall, insufficient framing), building movement/settlement, or hidden conditions behind walls.
  • Damage caused by loads beyond rated capacity, abuse, use as a ladder/hanger, or non-residential/assisted-living/healthcare use.
  • Damage from leaks or water intrusion not caused by our workmanship (e.g., plumbing failures, pre-existing penetrations).
  • Any repairs to tile, stone, finishes, paint, or underlying structure required to access or restore the area (we’ll discuss options and pricing if repairs are needed).

Commercial/Institutional Installs: For non-residential settings (e.g., multifamily common areas, retail, healthcare), the installation guarantee is one (1) year from installation.

Service Area: Calls outside our standard service area may incur a trip charge or scheduling limitations.

3) Care & Maintenance (Condition of Coverage)

To maintain coverage, clean stainless steel with mild dish soap and water; rinse and dry. Avoid bleach/chlorides, acidic cleaners, steel wool (use only stainless-steel-safe pads if needed), and corrosive substances. Do not allow concentrated chlorine (including urine spray) or iron-rich deposits to remain on the surface; wipe dry after exposure.

4) How to Obtain Service

or 817-670-2204 with proof of purchase, photos of the issue, installation address, and preferred contact times. SteadyBars may require inspection and reasonable cooperation to evaluate claims.

5) Capacity & Proper Use

Bars must be installed to suitable framing or rated anchors per manufacturer instructions. Published load ratings apply only when installed correctly on suitable substrates. Do not exceed rated capacities.

6) Limitation of Liability (Important)

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED LIFETIME PRODUCT WARRANTY AND THE LIFETIME INSTALLATION GUARANTEE STATED ABOVE, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEADYBARS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS REPAIR/RE-SECURE (LABOR) OR REPLACEMENT (PRODUCT) AS PROVIDED HEREIN.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STEADYBARS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, STEADYBARS’ TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR INSTALLATION AT ISSUE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION/LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY/GUARANTEE GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS; YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY BY STATE.

7) Governing Terms

SteadyBars reserves the right to update or modify this policy prospectively. Warranty/guarantee decisions are made in SteadyBars’ reasonable discretion based on installation records, photos, and site conditions.
